Graphics & Materials

Good materials make your ride look organized and welcoming. You don’t need a designer — simple, clear materials work best.

Design guidelines

If you’re creating your own materials:

  • Keep it simple — date, time, meeting point, and a clear “Critical Mass” label
  • Use high contrast — your flyer needs to be readable from a distance and in low light
  • Include a QR code linking to your social media or community page
  • Avoid cluttered designs — white space is your friend
  • Use a readable font — at least 14pt for body text on printed materials

Printing tips

  • Standard flyers: US Letter (8.5 x 11”) or A4
  • Spoke cards: 2.5 x 3.5” (business card size) on heavy card stock
  • Many local print shops offer cheap short-run prints
  • For spoke cards, consider lamination or heavy stock for weather resistance
